The Highland Chamber PlayersThe Highland Chamber Players are a fully professional ensemble which has provided elegant musical entertainment in the Kentuckiana area since 1982 while performing at over one hundred and fifty weddings per year.. Organizations our musicians have performed with include:

675 Additional music for the reception is at the following rates(per hour): $140 for four players; $120 for three players and $80 for two players Wedding services include a half hour of music prior to the ceremony, all processionals, music during the service as needed, recessionals and music as guests leave the church. We can also provide and perform with trumpeters, vocalists, and organists. Our fee also includes a personal meeting with violinist Ray Weaver to discuss the music for your wedding. Ray can play musical examples of the many options available for processionals, recessionals and other ceremonial moments to help you make choices that will create the wedding ceremony you envision. Notable Performances: The HCP peformed for the wedding of "Outback Jack" and Natalie Franzman at the Olmstead which was filmed by Fox for later broadcast. We enjoyed working with Natalie and her family - they were great fun and very down to earth. Other shows include "Spamalot" and "Camelot". Members of the Highland Chamber Players performed at the the following churches during the past Christmas season: St. Boniface, St. Stephen Martyr, Christ Church United Methodist, St. Matthews United Methodist, St.
Patrick's, Summit Heights United Methodist, and Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington. Among the various bridal shows for which the Highland Chamber Players performed this winter were the Bridal Fair Expo on January 20th at the Convention Center, Whitehall House and Gardens Show on January 26th, Oxmoor Bridal Show on January 27th, and the Gardencourt Bridal Show on Febraury 3rd. Our musicians enjoyed a busy Christmas week with performances at Central Presbyterian with 10 players performing with their choir and also performing the "Christmas Concerto" by Corelli. We also played al concert of holiday favorites at the Assembly of God church in Madision, and also for services at St. Boniface and St. Stephen Martyr. We also performed "Messiah" by Handel at St. Gabriel's Church in early January.

news...The Highland Chamber Players continue to perform frequently for the famous Bristol Sunday Brunch (Bardstown Rd.) from 11:15am until 1:45 pm on every third Sunday. We will provide music for the Bardstown Road Bristol's Sunday Brunch on the following dates:
We strongly encourage you (to come to the Bristol) to hear us in live performance. While our cd and web recordings can provide you with a good idea of the kind of music we do, it is in live performance that the Highland Chamber Players truly excel. Hearing us live gives you the opportunity to experience the unique expressive capabilities of our ensemble, the kind that can only come from our years of playing together.
