Notable Performances:

The HCP peformed for the wedding of "Outback Jack" and Natalie Franzman at the Olmstead which was filmed by Fox for later broadcast. We enjoyed working with Natalie and her family - they were great fun and very down to earth.

Other shows include "Spamalot" and "Camelot".

Members of the  Highland Chamber Players performed at the the following churches during the past Christmas season:  St. Boniface, St. Stephen Martyr, Christ Church United Methodist, St. Matthews United Methodist, St. Patrick's, Summit Heights United Methodist, and Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington.

On December 8th we had the pleasure of playing for a special Dinner at the Brown Hotel’s award-winning English Grill.  This special evening was designed to highlight Austrian and German cuisine and we provided three hours of Viennese Waltzes and other music to create the appropriate ambience.

Last December we had the honor of performing for the wedding of the daughter of Kentucky’s representative Anne Northup at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A couple of months prior to this we also enjoyed performing for the wedding of Rosa and Vincenzo Gabriele's daughter. The mass, which was read in both English and Italian, was interwoven with romantic music from Italian composers.

Among the various bridal shows  for which the Highland Chamber Players performed this winter were the Bridal Fair Expo on January 20th at the Convention Center, Whitehall House and Gardens Show on January 26th, Oxmoor Bridal Show on January 27th,  and the Gardencourt Bridal Show on Febraury 3rd.

Our musicians enjoyed a busy Christmas week with performances at Central Presbyterian with 10 players performing with their choir and also performing the "Christmas Concerto" by Corelli.  We also played al concert of holiday favorites at the Assembly of God church  in Madision, and also for services at St. Boniface and St. Stephen Martyr.  We also performed "Messiah" by Handel at St. Gabriel's Church in early January.
